Here you can discuss about the confrontation between Dinamo Bucharest and NEC Nijmegen in the qualification rounds for UEFA Cup. The matches will take place on 18th September in Netherlands and on 2nd October at Bucharest.

Should be a good match, we are definitely looking forward to it! Based on club history and statistics I guess we are the underdog, but in two matches a lot can happen and I hope it will be an interesting clash (with us walking away triumphant, obviously).

Well, you are right, at first sight it looks that you are the underdog, but to tell you the truth this is what scarres us the most. We are afraid that our players might not focus, like it happend last year

only the goal keeper Lobont he play's by ajax amsterdam

the first time was 1983 we lose against barcelona (with diego maradonna) with 2-3 and 2-0
the second time five years ago we lose in the first round against wisla krakow 1-2 and 3-1
this year we loose 6 of our most importent players
we totally don't know what the f*** we must to do in the eufa cup
we have no chance with this team we have.
last year we loose 1 game in 18 rounds but our team is totally different now
see you

Hello NEC fans!
It's definitely going to be a nice confrontation between our beloved teams and let's hope the best team wins.
Here's why I think Dinamo will qualify to the Uefa Cup Group Stage:
Our players have more experience on an European level. In the past several years we've consistently palyed in the Uefa Cup with some satisfying results(except last year when we lost the Champions League qualification match against Lazio, and then the uefa cup group stage qualification against elfsborg)
2005: Dinamo - Everton 5-1
Dinamo - TSKA Moscow 1-0
2006 - Dinamo - Besiktas 1-0
Dinamo - Leverkusen 2-1
Also, because of last year's poor results we are practically obliged to qualify to the group stage and then qualify out of the groups also. We have rival teams playing both in the UCL and the Uefa Cup so we can't afford another dissapointing season.
We have many romanian international players, like Lobont and Tamas who played all 3 matches at Euro 2008, and other talented internationals like :Cristian Pulhac, Cosmin Moti, Adrian Cristea, Florin Bratu, Ionel Danciulescu and Marius Niculae(who played in 2 matches out of 3 at Euro 2008)
Anyway, good luck to you guys, and have a nice trip to Romania!

Hi Guys,
I've got a couple of questions.
Do u think the stadium will be sold out for this match? If it isn't, would u expect problems when NEC supporters buy tickets for rugular seats?
Any tips for good restaurants, clubs and sightseeing?
Good luck guys and cu in october!

you should not take tickets in those sectors because you don't know if you'll get out of the stadium alive!

Mister Marcher don`t scare them. After all we are civilized people and we don`t bite our contendors, we
do this only on the field not in real life. Surelly the stadium will be packed with fans so you should
try to get one fast.
About Bucharest, I advise you to go to the Red Dogs Pub and try Cai Lun`s favorite shaorma.
Good luck !

Any tips for good restaurants, clubs and sightseeing?
Good Restaurants: "Tratoria il Calcio", "Classa di T" (both of them very cheap

)
Clubs: "Bamboo" or "Fratelli" (also very cheap

)
Sightseeing: You should try to visit Rahova District, Ferentari (also known as FerenTexas) or Mătăsari Street (kind of Red Light District from Amsterdam)

Hey, guys, stop fooling around with our friends from the Netherlands, we want them to come and visit another time as well, with or without their team :)
So, seriously, things to see/visit:
University square (Piatza Universitatzii); Victory Boulevard (Calea Victoriei) from Hilton to the end by the Dambovita river - the art museum is there, close to the Hilton Hotel, in the ex-royal palace. You can also walk down Elisabeth boulevard from Universitatzii to Kogalniceanu Square. You can walk around Cismigiu Park on the way, it's in front of the City Hall.
The Old Town is near Universitatzii Square, behind the statue of Michael the Brave on the horse, but it is under work so it doesn't look very nice yet.
Of course, don't miss the Parliament Palace, or "Ceausescu's House" :D
For a hassle free quick meal, there are lots of places easy top find, but check the prices, some are not worth it. The pizza is good usually.
A great place I recommend for meals is 'Carul cu Bere' - The Beer Charriot, on a small street next to Calea Victoriei in front of the CEC Bank Palace. It has Romanian style dances live between 19h and 21h if I'm correct.
La Mama restaurants are good (One is close to Romana Square on Nicolae Golescu Street).
Another great restaurant is Smarts, on Alexandru Donici street. It's hard to find without a GPS :) but it's great. Belongs to our striker, Danciulescu ;)
In Romana Square you can have a drink at Everest or The Harbour (Amzei street), in Universitatzii at Cafeneaua Actorilor (Actor's Cafe), or Jos Palaria (Take off your hat).
That's it for now on the advice for Bucharest. See you on the stadium!

Hello, NEC fans! You can also visit Casa Presei Libere (The House of Free Press). It's located in the north-west side of the city.
You can take the subway to Crangasi Station, and then take tram number 41 direction Casa Presei Libere.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy your stay in Bucharest. And be prepared for a full stadium, even if it's not a big one. We sure know to support our team

i saw the game yesterday and i was very dissappointed seeing your "fans" waving white power flags, shouting naziyells , shooting fireworks at children, and players......is this normal, when you go with your children to a football match ?
Aceeași a fost adevărat pentru Youssef El-Akchaoui, care a fost pe teren din cauza unei abdominale prejudiciu. latest news , it's not shure, there will be a rematch at all, the uefa will meet sept.25 to discuss sanctions against your team, there even talking right now of exclusion from the uefa cup, in that case who's gonna pay me my 500 euro's back, and by the way i don't need the romanian language to understand sieg heil yells and read flags with white power who are absolutely forbidden in holland, who suffered 5 years of nazi occupation..........

Rematch? Exclusion from UEFA Cup? What's this? Dutch humor?

I don't know if your latest news are from the shit called gașca slugilor proaste, but here ,on earth, things are different. So wake up, and hope for the best in the future for your team.
"i don't need the romanian language to understand sieg heil yells and read flags with white power" : Some idiots from UEFA saw the figure of Hitler, instead of Catalin Hildan,on a banner, a couple of years ago. So, maybe you didn't see too well.
radu_reddogforever
Sep 20 2008, 12:01 AM
For your knowledge, Catalin Hildan was Dinamo's former captain and died on the pitch in 2000. And the Uefa guys thought he was Hitler. So, I don't what you saw...but I sure hope the second leg will be played. It's not fair to qualify like this.

did i mention adolf hiltler somewhere ? i mentioned flags with white power , and as the riot broke loose a few of your "fans" where shouting sieg heil (read google how holland suffered under the nazis !!) and raised their right hand , i was in block a row 22 and directly behind me a 11 yr. young boy was hit by a rocket from your "fans" he was transported instantly to the hospital, also in block d (a family block for parents and their children!!!), a young girl was hit by fireworks........the films on internet only show the riots 5 m.too late.as our parents with children flew and emptied the blocks,by the way are some of your "fans" already arrested or are they allowed to watch a rematch ??? (if there will be a rematch)..........this would be, a complete farce............

ronny, don't you have police? if they broke some law, shoot them, skin them alive, disembowel them ... whatever the long spanish occupation taught you. or the shorter german ocupation if you like.
do whatever you wish, but stop bitching on the internet: nobody listens and chances of them getting punished here are slim to none. even if there was the will to do something, there is a little matter of jurisdiction.

ronny, NEC managers must be imbeciles to place the family block right next to visitors block. Absolutely idiots!!! And no police at all, no free blocks, as UEFA asks for security reasons. Same situation on the other side, when NEC fans were allowed by yours stupid stewards to aproach to our fans and start the fight. No wonder why they throw the fireworks. Also, a woman on our side was hit by your hooligans, and transported to the hospital.
I saw your hooligans in the woods, waiting not to fight with our hooligans, but to attack our players, and forced them to stay 2 hours in the stadium.
Dutch police must have some experience with yours hooligans, renown worlwide, but this time they completly ignored the possibility of incidents.
NEC must be punished for lack of security measures.
PS: About "sieg heil", must be in your head. They called you "pedophils", by "mistake". Actually, the pedophils arrested in our country were from Belgium.

Dont mind ronny...
Fact is that the Dinamo boys caused problems. Everybody agrees about that.
I think the uefa will punish dinamo with a fine or at best playing the match on a nutural ground.
I hope not because i bought my tickets allready
about the match: NEC forgot to score 2 or 3 times. But i dont think they will lose in the away game. The quality difference was to big. But u never know!
Good luck for your guys!
