i respect you man but i really don't liked what you say that with that attitude you can't blame those who do.
you know this guy dosen't represent all of beitar fans and all jewish people.
i hope we will come to romania we can trade scurfs even have a beer togheter and everything will be ok just like what happened last year when beitar met slovan librech from chech and everything was cool...
You're right, not the best choice of words. What I meant is that anger fuels anger, and hate fuels hate. Most people are not very tolerant nor are they very willing to make the distinction between an individual and the group (race, creed, nationality a.s.o.) he or she belongs to. When you make a friendly comment and get an angry reply, I can see how someone may start carrying a grudge. I like to think I'm a very tolerant and non-violent person (I am Canadian, after all

), and I always try to see both sides of every story. Except for pathologic cases, hate is the irrational reaction to an unreasonable situation. Unfortunately, it is human nature. And that kind o attitude qualifies as an unreasonable situation capable of igniting hate. That's what I meant.
I'm know his attitude is not very representative, and I'd like to think this is not even his regular behaviour. I understand his frustration, and even his anger, but others may not. Hence, my call to "chill out".
I, too, hope that the encounter between the fans will be friendly. However, I should warn you to be careful. While most Romanians are friendly and very good hosts, you'll most likely meet the homegrown variety of the Frustrated Idiot (FI). You see, the FI doesn't have a functional brain of his own, so he acts based on prejudice and a partial and blured recollection of facts, ideas and ideals that he doesn't completely understand, and as such he cannot be reasoned with. That's why his an idiot, and most normal people ignore him to the best of their abilities. This creates unbearable levels of frustration, to the point where he would do almost anything to get the attention and admiration of others. The easiest way to achieve this is to do something radical, extreme, shocking. And since we already know how much brain power he can devote to the project, the obvious choice is verbal and physical violence. In dealing with the FI, you should know from the very start that you cannot win a direct confrontation, so your only option is to avoid them at all cost. Luckily, the FI is fairly easy to spot, given his obsessive attempts at getting noticed. Furthermore, you should attempt to avoid groups of FIs, as they tend to be even more aggresive when they have a supportive audience.
Bucharest doesn't have a real downtown, but as long as you stay within the bustling central neighbourghoods, you'll probably be fine and will take home only nice memories. Well, except the score of the game, but you can't have it all, eh
